Hurricane Relief Efforts in Tampa, FL

At Volkswagen Brandon, we care deeply for our customers as if they were members of our own family. This is why, when Hurricane Ian left its devastating wake in Florida, we wanted to find a way to provide relief to those affected. These moments of hardship remind us of what really matters in life: family and community. The Qvale Auto Group has a long, prosperous history in the Tampa Bay area; we are proud to call this region home, as are hundreds of our employees and their families. This is our community, and we feel so deeply for those affected. It is with great honor that we can come together as a community during these trying times and pledge our support to the American Red Cross and its Hurricane Ian Relief Fund. We are truly humbled to be able to stand in solidarity with our community and help those impacted by this destructive storm.

On October 8, 2022, our dealership hosted a Grand Re-Opening and Hurricane Relief Event to show our support for the community. The experience was beyond our wildest dreams of what we envisioned our Grand Re-Opening to be. Close friends, family and customers were here alongside us as we donated one of Qvale Auto Group’s first of many contributions to the American Red Cross. During the Hurricane Relief Effort campaign, a promotion was held to donate a portion of the sales made from October 8, 2022, to November 12, 2022, and for every car sold, $100 was donated to the American Red Cross’ Hurricane Ian Relief Fund.

With the help from our wonderful community towards the relief efforts, Geno Walsh, the group’s executive manager of operations, and Conner Qvale (CEO Bruce Qvale’s son) were proud to present a check for $50,000 to the Red Cross in support of its Hurricane Relief efforts. It was truly an inspiring event that showed the power of our community when we come together to help those in need. We are grateful for everyone who contributed to the relief efforts, and we hope that we can continue to make a positive difference in our community with your help. Together, we will work to rebuild and create a new, stronger future! Thank you again for joining us on this journey.
